Jodi Egeland, Medical Director

Jodi Egeland, Family Practice and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, began her employment with Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2002.  Jodi received her BSN and Masters in Nursing from Minnesota State University, Mankato.  She completed her post masters certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through St. Louis University in 2010.  Jodi became Medical Director of Minnesota State Mankato Student Health Services July 1, 2015.  She has an interest in providing holistic care to the student population with her combination of primary care and mental health specialties.  She has 15 years of primary care/family practice clinic experience that includes working in tele-medicine.  Her pyschiatric experience is not only in college health but also includes working with seriously persistently mentally ill clients in the community and utilizing tele-pyschiatry to provide mental health services to underserved communities.
