Tammy Diehn, Family Nurse Practitioner

Tammy is a family nurse practitioner for Student Health Services and began her employment with Minnesota State University, Mankato in January 2014.  She is originally from Lester Prairie, MN.  Tammy received her Master's in Nursing at the University of North Dakota.  Tammy worked in hospital, clinic and nursing home settings in a variety of roles as a registered nurse for over 18 years prior to becoming a nurse practitioner.  She is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a certified medical examiner for DOT physicals.  She is a member of Minnesota Nurses Association, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Minnesota Nurse Practitioners, and Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing.

Tammy and her husband reside in rural Arlington, MN.  She has two grown children and five grandchildren.  She enjoys spending time with her family, crafts, and travel.
