Education: In 2020, I earned my degree with a background in Electronics and Communication. Following that, I dedicated nearly two years to working as a Programmer Analyst at Cognizant Technology Solutions. At present, I am actively engaged in pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science to further advance my knowledge and skills in this dynamic field.

What I like about being an SSC: My role as a supervisor has not only given me a profound understanding of the responsibilities associated with this position but has also allowed me to cultivate and refine my leadership skills. I take immense pleasure in working with people within the community, forming strong connections with my desk assistants, residents, and community advisors. This experience has not only been rewarding in the present, but I believe it will continue to benefit me in future roles. It has equipped me to lead and guide a team effectively, enhancing my leadership capabilities, and providing me with valuable skills that I can apply in my future career endeavors.

Favorite SSC Memory/Experience: One of my most cherished memories from my time at SSC involves the meaningful 1:1 sessions I’ve had with both my Desk Assistants and my supervisor. These sessions were not only instrumental in fostering valuable connections but also played a significant role in my personal growth. Additionally, spending time with my fellow SSC members was a true highlight, and it allowed us to build a strong sense of camaraderie. I also hold a special place in my heart for the lunch meetings with my hall directors. Furthermore, I enjoyed being part of the WOW (What's on Wednesday) events each week. This role added an extra layer of excitement and engagement to my experience. Moreover, I have fond memories of the fantastic bonfire gatherings with all my residential life staff. I mustn't forget the lively square-dancing event that added a unique and fun dimension to my overall experience at SSC. These collective experiences have shaped my time at SSC into a rich and fulfilling chapter of my life that I will forever hold dear.

Professional Development: Wherever my career leads, the skills I've honed in my current role will be a valuable asset. With some autonomy in my responsibilities, I appreciate the professional development opportunities, like professional organization memberships, which have enriched my academic pursuits and prepared me for my desired field.

Position Balance and Academics: Maintaining a harmonious equilibrium between work and academic pursuits is a central aspect of my role, regardless of the academic program or job. I must commend my supervisor and hall directors for their outstanding support – regularly checking in on my well-being and stepping in to lighten my workload during particularly demanding periods.

My Professional Dream: My professional dream is to work at the intersection of healthcare and data science while also holding a supervisory position, where I can oversee both business operations and a team of individuals.
