Education:  I am originally from Hyderabad, India, currently pursuing my passion in the United States to work in the automotive/manufacturing industry and fulfill my parents' dream while earning a respectable position in any industry I become a part of. I hold a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and am currently pursuing a master's degree in manufacturing engineering technology at MNSU.

What I like about being an SSC: As a Student Service Coordinator (SSC), I find great satisfaction in interacting with residents and assisting them with their concerns. I particularly enjoy participating in various activities and contributing my own touch to the leadership role. This position allows me to explore and develop a range of skills that I believe will be invaluable in my future endeavors.

Favorite SSC Memory/Experience: One of my favorite experiences as an SSC has been the warm welcome I received from the residential life staff. Being embraced into their community with open arms has been both memorable and encouraging. It has fostered a sense of belonging and camaraderie that enhances my overall experience in this role.

Professional Development: The role of an SSC has provided me with opportunities for professional development, allowing me to enhance my leadership and management skills. Through managing desk assistants and engaging in various responsibilities, I am constantly learning and growing. Despite the challenges, I appreciate the chance to build a strong foundation for my future career.

Position Balance and Academics: Balancing the responsibilities of being an SSC with my academic commitments can be challenging at times. However, with the support of my supervisor, I have been able to navigate and manage my time effectively. This balance ensures that I can excel both in my position and in my academic pursuits, contributing to a holistic and fulfilling educational experience.

My Professional Dream: Upon completing my master's degree at MNSU, my professional dream is to work in the manufacturing industry in the United States. I aspire to become a skilled manufacturing engineer, gaining valuable experience and continuously growing within the industry. Working with machines and understanding the intricacies of how companies operate has been a longstanding dream of mine, and I am eager to contribute my skills and knowledge to this dynamic field.
