Facility Projects in 24-25 Limit the Number of Returning Students Staying On-Campus
The returning student housing application for 24-25 closed on January 5, 2024.
Why did the housing application close?
In October 2023, we notified current residents of plans to limit the number of returning students living with us in 24-25 to accommodate upcoming facility projects that will temporarily reduce housing capacity.
Are incoming students affected?
No, incoming students (new to the university in the fall of 2024) may continue to apply for housing. The application will remain open as long as space remains.
What are the upcoming facility projects?
We are renovating the community bathrooms in Crawford A and B Hall to address leaks in the 65 year-old plumbing. Work begins in B Hall starting the summer of 2024. Renovations will continue into the academic year, resulting in reduced capacity for 24-25. The outcome will provide increased privacy, better accessibility, and an enhanced user experience for residents living in these halls.
Will there be an opportunity to apply for housing later?
A wait list may open in July if it appears we will have additional space. Updates will be posted on our News page.
