Madi Luebke, Aviation LCC

Welcome… I’m your LCC Madi Luebke

I am so excited to meet you the fall.  I will be a resource for you as you navigate through your first year of college here at Minnesota State University, Mankato!  Being involved with the Aviation learning community will help you academically as well as socially, so utilize me and your peers as much as you can!

Major: Aviation, Professional Flight

How/what made you decide this major? I decided to major in aviation after a discovery flight I did with my dad and his friend. I had no expectations going up, but when we landed, I told my dad, “this is what I want to do.” I had no prior background in the aviation world, neither did my family. It was all very new to me. I am so glad I chose Aviation and can't wait for the future.

Year in School: Junior

Hometown: Kenyon-Wanamingo

Favorite Food: Anything pasta

Advice for LC Students: Get involved any way you can, it will benefit you in the long run.

Smartest thing you ever did/best decision you ever made: The best decision I ever did was come to MNSU. I have met so many amazing people and am part of such an unique program. I know it’s the perfect fit for me.

Favorite thing about MSU: All the amazing people, beautiful campus and the aviation program.

Campus/LC Involvement: I am President of Women in Aviation on campus, part of the Aviation Club and in a aviation mentor program called SESH. I have also been part of both volleyball and basketball intermural teams.

Favorite thing to do in Mankato: Go exploring and finding new places with friends.

Favorite things to do outside of school/coursework: I love to travel with my friends and family, and creating many memories together.

Anything else we should know about you? Fun fact about me is that I have donated my hair five times to Locks for Love. These 12 inches are made into wigs to give to cancer patients.
