Tanner Luetjens, Aviation LCC
Welcome… I’m your LCC Tanner Luetjens!
I am so excited to meet you in the fall. I will be a resource for you as you navigate through your first year of college here at Minnesota State University, Mankato! Being involved with the aviation learning community will help you academically as well as socially, so utilize me and your peers as much as you can! I can’t wait to meet you all!
How/what made you decide this major? I chose aviation after getting the opportunity to go flying at a scouting event. This was the first time I had ever been in an airplane. Since then I knew that Aviation would be my passion. I believe that the aviation community is comprised of the kindest and most incredible people you will ever meet, and I feel you will love it too.
Year in School: 4th Year
Favorite Food: Italian
Advice for LC Students: My advice to the aviation learning community would be to get to know fellow aviation students upon arriving at MSU. These people will be great resources and friends that will help you along the way and get involved!
Smartest thing you ever did/best decision you ever made: Join aviation clubs and organizations.
Favorite thing about MSU: How much the professors and faculty care about your personal success and goals.
Campus/LC Involvement: Aviation Club, Aviation Management Club, Women in Aviation, Minnesota Business Aviation Association.
Favorite thing to do in Mankato: Walking by the river and exploring Mankato parks.
Favorite things to do outside of school/coursework: Hammocking, Disc Golf, Hiking, Camping, and of course Flying!
Anything else we should know about you? I’ve been involved in scouting since I was in 1st grade. I have had the opportunity to reach Eagle Scout rank and have been a summer camp counselor for 5+ years.
