Welcome… I’m your LCC, Salem Dejenu!

I am so excited to meet you the fall.  I will be a resource for you as you navigate through your first year of college here at Minnesota State University, Mankato!  Being involved with the Business Learning Community will help you academically as well as socially, so utilize me and your peers as much as you can!

Major: CIT and Accounting

How/what made you decide this major? Growing up I was always interesting in Tech and Finance. When I got to college, I had the difficult decision of selecting a major. After thinking it through and speaking with advisors, I chose to double major in CIT and Accounting.

Hometown: Ethiopia, East Africa

Favorite Food: Pasta

Advice for LC Students: Manage your time carefully. Don't procrastinate, get you assignments doen before it piles up. 

Favorite thing about MSU: I love that MSU is diversified, I have met people from differenct cultures, and it has taught me so much. 

Campus/LC Involvement: I am part of Alpha Lamda Delta Honor Society.

Favorite thing to do in Mankato: Go to Mount Kato.

Favorite things to do outside of school/coursework: Hangout with friends and read books.
