Welcome... I'm your LCC, Zoie Wobbema!

I am so excited to meet you the fall.  I will be a resource for you as you navigate through your first year of college here at Minnesota State University, Mankato!  Being involved with the Exploring Teaching Learning Community will help you academically as well as socially, so utilize me and your peers as much as you can!

Majors: Chemsitry Education and Spanish

How/what made you decide this major? I chose my Spanish major because I have been studying the language since kindergarten. Then, I chose Chemistry Education because I have wanted to be a teacher since I was little. 

Year in School: Sophomore 

Hometown: Minnetonka, Minnesota 

Favorite Food: Watermelon and also cupcakes

Advice for LC Students: Make sure that you manage your time well, I learned this in my first year of college and it has helped me a lot. 

Smartest thing you ever did/best decision you ever made: Going to MSU, it is not too close but not too far from my home. I also loved the campus.

Favorite thing about MSU: The CSU. I go there to study and to get Starcucks or to hangout with my friends. 

Campus/LC Involvement: Other than being an LCC, I am also part of the Spanish Club.

Favorite thing to do in Mankato: Either going to the mall or going downtown to the restaurants. 

Favorite things to do outside of school/coursework: One of my favoirte things to do is bake in my free time. I also like to hang out with my friends. 

Anything else we should know about you? Other things that you should know about me are that I have a dog named Goofy and I collect snow globes from the different places I travel.
