PSEO Requirements at MSU

To be eligible for the Post-Secondary Enrollment Option (PSEO) at MSU, students must meet specific academic standards based on grade level. These requirements ensure that students are prepared for college-level coursework while still in high school.

Seniors:

Must rank in the top 50% of their high school class

Or maintain a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA

Or achieve a composite ACT score of 21 or above with a minimum GPA of 2.7

Juniors:

Must rank in the top third of their high school class

Or maintain a 3.3 or higher GPA

Or achieve a composite ACT score of 24 or above with a minimum GPA of 2.7

Home-School Students:

Seniors must have a composite ACT score of 21 or above

Juniors must have a composite ACT score of 24 or above
