Support for fixed-term and probationary faculty in their second year at the University. The group will meet monthly to discuss the increasing responsibilities of academic advising, scholarship, and research and reflect upon challenges and lessons learned during their first year at the University.
Topics will include
- Research support from the Center for Excellence in Scholarship and Research
- Grant and sponsored program support, affinity groups, and grant writing consultations from Research & Sponsored Programs
- Academic advising
- Supporting and advising international students (Kearney Center for International Student Services)
- Choosing department and university service activities (Faculty Association)
