Society of Automotive Engineers
The Minnesota State Chapter of the Society of Automotive Engineers organizes a trip to the Specialty Equipment Marketing Association (SEMA) in Las Vegas, and Performance Racing Industry (PRI) automotive shows and works with the Formula SAE team in the design of an open wheel, Formula style race car.

Minnesota Center for Automotive Research (MNCAR) Lab
Our Automotive Research Lab supports student research with advanced testing equipment. Key features include a chassis dynamometer for emissions and fuel analysis, a Critical Flow Venturi system for gas measurements, an engine test cell for stationary engine emissions, and tools for testing electric vehicle components like drive systems and energy storage.
