Dietetics Program Structure

Many students complete a bachelor's degree, master's degree, and dietetic internship through separate programs, requiring multiple applications and often taking up to seven years to complete.

Minnesota State Mankato's integrated BS-to-MS Coordinated Program streamlines the process, allowing students to complete their education and supervised practice requirements in just five years through a single admissions pathway.

With our coordinated program, students can:

  • Apply only once for the full BS-to-MS Coordinated Program pathway
  • Progress seamlessly from undergraduate to graduate study
  • Complete degree and supervised practice requirements in five years

This streamlined structure helps students save time, avoid the uncertainty of multiple admissions processes, and stay focused on preparing for successful careers in nutrition and dietetics.

Students interested in the Distance Option need to discuss the option with the Program Director.

Prior Learning Credit

Students with potential prior learning credit such as coursework from an accredited institution or significant and related work experience should reach out to the program director to discuss the process of gaining approval for prior learning credit.
