Scholarship Timelines
Students rely on scholarships to fund their education. We've streamlined the process so that students know when to apply and when they will receive their award.
Offering a Scholarship
All new scholarships must be entered into Scholarship Finder by University Advancement in accordance with defined procedures. All scholarships will follow the Winter/Spring cycle unless there is an approved business reason for one of the alternate cycles. Contact Jodi Bruns or Michelle Reinhardt to discuss summer or fall scholarship administration.
NOTE: Dates will be adjusted as needed to accommodate weekends and holidays.
Winter/Spring Cycle - Primary Cycle

University-wide scholarship advertising to students
February 1
Student application opens

Student application closes

Scholarship committee reviews

Scholarship committee review ends

Deadline for scholarship champions to enter awards as Selected

Deadline for Foundation to review Selected, notify Champions

For any scholarship that is unable to follow the Winter/Spring cycle, the scholarship should follow either the Summer or Fall secondary cycle.
