Create Your Account
Everyone participating in Open dome at the Maverick All-Sports Dome needs to have an account with a signed waiver in order to purchase a day pass. Adults can create accounts for themselves and their dependents at https://mycampusrec.mnsu.edu . After creating their account they can click on the bell icon to sign their (or their dependent’s) waiver. Facility staff will take your photo to link to your account upon your first in-person visit.
All patrons under 14 years old require an accompanying parent or guardian with them at all times during open dome.
Payments
Access during open dome times is a $5 fee per person. The Maverick All-Sports dome does not accept cash or checks. All purchases must be done using a Visa/MasterCard/Discover debit or credit cards.
Open Dome Hours
Open dome hours are updated weekly and posted to the Maverick All-Sports dome website and within the MNSU Crec mobile app. Space available during open dome times varies from week to week and can include just 1 field of open dome access to all 3 fields (full dome).
Activities NOT allowed during open dome times:
- Golf
- Lacrosse
- Live hitting outside of the batting cages (baseball/softball).
Batting Cages
Batting cages are available for use during open dome times with the following rules:
- Users must bring their own bats/balls/tees/helmets.
- Pitching machines are not available.
- Helmets are required at all times within the batting cage.
- Patrons are limited to 10 min per batter if there are others in line to use the cage. Patrons can then
get back in line for another 10 min session if they wish to continue hitting.

The MNSU Crec app is available in the Apple and Google Play app stores and allows you to check upcoming open dome times and get important notifications like inclement weather closures. The app also helps our staff pull up your account more quickly. Search "MNSU Campus Rec" to find the app in the app stores.
