Bernie Koenigs started at the Y Barber Shop in the fall of 1962. His shop saw many changes over the years--moving from the old YMCA to two different Front Street locations to its current home in the Mankato Place Mall. Throughout it all, Bernie's love of Mankato and fond memories of Front Street remain. Highlights of his October 2009 conversation with Dave Engen are presented below.
