Senior Fellowship Opportunities

Seniors are eligible for many esteemed fellowships and scholarships, whether you are considering a gap year opportunity or continuing with your studies in graduate or professional school. Please review the awards listed below, and let the Office of Fellowships know as early as possible if you plan on applying for one. Also, review the "Graduate Students" page for awards available to prospective graduate students.

Undocumented students should explore resources from Educators for Fair Consideration (E4FC). Their site includes lists of both undergraduate and graduate scholarships that don't require proof of U.S. Citizenship or legal permanent residency.

Opportunities in Public Service/Human Rights

Charles B. Rangel Graduate Fellowship

  • Emphasis: Academic, Experiential, Other: Includes support for graduate degree, internships, professional development, and employment as a Foreign Service Office in the U.S. Department of State
  • Open to seniors and recent college graduates

Echoing Green Fellowship

  • Emphasis: Research, Experiential

Foreign Affairs Informational Technology (IT) Fellowship Program:

  • Open to undergraduates in programs relevant to IT and will be entering junior year in the fall the cohort year; OR seeking admission to an IT-related master's degree program beginning in the fall of the cohort year

Humanity in Action Fellowship

James C. Gaither Junior Fellows Program:
