Figuring out funding for college can be challenging. The information on this page is designed as a way to get started exploring scholarship options.
While there is a lot of useful information online, there are also 'scam' sites that will require that you pay money for information that is available for free. The U.S. Department of Education has provided some information about how to avoid Scholarship Scams on their website.

Educational Talent Search Scholarship - The scholarship is intended to assist a student who has been a participant in the ETS program and benefited directly from the services provided. ETS awards two $350 scholarships each year. One will be for a two year college (or proprietary school) attendee and the other for a four year college attendee.
MN TRiO Scholarship - The Minnesota TRiO Association is proud to offer three scholarships annually to eligible TRiO participants in Minnesota.
Minnesota Transfer - The site is oriented toward students transferring to a Minnesota college, but there is a wonderful drop-down menu of links to many Minnesota college and university scholarship pages.
MinnesotaJobs Scholarship Program - The MinnesotaJobs.com Scholarship is available to all students currently enrolled or have been accepted to and are planning to enroll in an accredited 2 year or 4 year program offered by a Minnesota School.
Scholarships for Military Children -If your mother or father is active duty, reserve/guard, or retired military personnel or you are the survivor of a deceased member, and you have a military dependent I.D. card you can apply! You must be planning to attend a college or university on a full-time basis.
Minnesota HIMSS - The Minnesota Chapter of HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) annually awards a $1,000 scholarship to students studying in the healthcare information or management systems field.
MSHSCA - The Minnesota State High School Coaches Association will again be awarding $1000 scholarships to deserving student-athletes from Minnesota High Schools.
MNESTA Youth Scholarship Program - Available to qualified high school seniors that are sons or daughters of active duty Police, Fire, and EMS personnel.
Minnesota Indian Scholarship Program - Provides postsecondary financial assistance to eligible Minnesota resident students who are of one-fourth or more Indian ancestry and demonstrate financial need for an award.

Society of Women Engineers - The SWE Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to women admitted to accredited baccalaureate or graduate programs, in preparation for careers in engineering, engineering technology and computer science.
