Inclusive Teaching

Inclusive teaching at Minnesota State University, Mankato means that, as instructors, we are intentional in our efforts to leverage the diverse strengths that students and faculty bring to our learning environments. We are also intentional in our recognition of how systems of power and privilege may play out in the classroom.

Additionally, we seek out pedagogical practices that will support significant and accessible learning for students of all genders, races, ethnicities, sexualities, socio-economic classes, disability/ability statuses, religions, nationalities, ages, and military statuses.
