As of June 16, 2022, Minnesota State University has updated admission policies to allow more efficient application processing. Please review the new procedure carefully to receive faster admissions decisions. 

Please follow the steps below to determine application and documentation requirements:

Determining if you will be applying as a First-Year or Transfer student is important because it will define the documentation needed to complete your application packet. 

First-Year Students Transfer Students (without U.S. Credits) Transfer Students (with U.S. credits)

The e-application must be completed before any further documentation will be accepted. 

Complete the online application to begin the processing of your admission. After submitting the online application, you must submit academic documentation to complete your application packet.

A $20 application fee is required from all undergraduate applicants. 

You can pay the $20 application fee by following these instructions. Before paying the application fee, be sure that you've:

  1. Submitted your online application and
  2. Activated your StarID.

Admission decisions typically take 5-10 business days, so start reviewing the next steps and any additional requirements that are needed.
