The College of Allied Health and Nursing will establish a Center for Rural Behavioral Health in the fall to improve access to behavioral health care for residents in outstate Minnesota, to include residents of recognized reservations.
Minnesota State University, Mankato and three non-profit partners were recently awarded a $224,744 grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture to increase food, gardening and nutrition education for youth in underserved communities.
