The Health Education office offers Mental Health resources and opportunities for students to support personal mental health as well as the mental health and well being of the campus community.
A variety of mental health resources are available for students on the Minnesota State Mankato campus.
A number of off-campus mental health resources are available in the Mankato area.
A training program that introduces University groups to risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems, builds understanding of their impact and offers appropriate support resources. Taught by a certified Mental Health First Aid instructor.
Light therapy, often used in combination with medication and behavioral therapy, is an effective treatment for SAD. A light box is available to use on campus and is free for registered student use.
