Security Patrol Officer

Shifts are assigned in varying length and are primarily late night, overnight, weekends and holidays. Patrol Officers are assigned to patrol campus to ensure the safety of the community and its property. Patrol Officers respond to calls for service placed to the Security Office and act as a liason with Mankato Department of Public Safety.  Hourly rate of pay starts at $12.50.

Security Communications Officer

Shifts are primarily late night, overnight, weekends and holidays. Communications Officers receive all incoming emergency calls, monitor campus switchboard, and monitor other safety equipment. Hourly rate of pay starts at $12.50.

Security Customer Service / Support Assistant

Shifts are assigned in varying lengths from 8am - 4:30pm; summer and interim breaks may vary. Customer Service / Support Assistants are assigned to clerical work and assisting the community in-person and on the phone in areas regarding parking, lost and found, etc. This position will also be cross-trained as a Security Communications Officer. Hourly rate of pay starts at $12.50.

Locking Systems Technician

Shifts are assigned in varying lengths from 8am - 4:30pm; summer and interim breaks may vary. Technicians are assigned to monitor and operate the locking and key systems on campus. Hourly rate of pay starts at $12.50.

Emergency Medical Technician

Shifts are a combination of on call and on duty time. On call from 4 - 8pm, on duty from 8 -11pm, and on call from 11pm - 5am. EMT's are also required to be on campus during on call hours. EMT's are assigned to respond to emergency medicals on campus, and provide walking escorts during on duty hours. All EMT's must be state certified as Emergency Medical Technicians and nationally certified as Emergency Medical Technicians. EMTs must also hold a valid American Heart Association certification for Healthcare Provider level CPR/AED. Pay rate is $100 per shift/day.
