The Scholars at Work Conference Committee invites faculty, staff, and graduate students to share their teaching, research, and innovative activities with peers and colleagues around our institution.

Full- and part-time faculty, staff, and graduate students are invited to participate in the 4th Annual Scholars at Work Conference. As a community, we will learn about teaching and research innovations that our faculty conduct across campus. For the first time, we will have three tracks: scholarship of teaching and learning, other faculty research, and graduate research. The conference will also be a hybrid conference. Join and present from where you are by Zoom or on campus.

Submit a 300–500-word proposal for a presentation or poster. There will be three types of presentation options, oral presentation, poster, and graduate student proposal roundtables. The presentation options consist of a 20-minute presentation and 10 minutes for questions. The poster options consist of a 30-minute presentation and 10 minutes of conversation. The graduate student proposal roundtable will consist of a 10-minute presentation and 20 minutes for feedback. The graduate student proposal roundtables are meant for graduate students who are early stages of their thesis process to get feedback from faculty.

Faculty and graduate students are also encouraged to submit a 1000-1500-word paper to the conference proceedings, which will be hosted in the Cornerstone Archive.
