Faculty Development

Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) provides high-quality faculty development with an emphasis on application and cross-disciplinary collaboration. We believe faculty deserve prompt and professional communication, clear instructions, a well-executed curriculum, and a positive, growth-oriented learning atmosphere. That is what you can expect from any Writing Across the Curriculum program you participate in.

We invite you to invest in yourself and your students through joining one of our popular faculty development programs. Our programs are designed for faculty members from any discipline who want to develop or strengthen a writing component in their courses.

The Writing Fellows Program is for new and experienced faculty interested in discovering a more satisfying and effective approach to incorporating writing into their courses.

WAC Master Classes are special topics courses on various facets of writing instruction. These courses are designed for faculty who have completed the Writing Fellows Program.

One-on-one Consultations are available for faculty who are seeking a writing intensive designation or want help on any aspect of writing instruction or course design. Scheduling is flexible and meeting locations are convenient.
