- Reset your password from a safe device using the Minnesota State StarID page.
- Update and run antivirus and anti-malware software.
- Reset your password, keep it secure and complex. Never use the same password.

My computer is infected. What do I do?
- Update and run antivirus and anti-malware software to remove malware.
- Reset passwords for commonly accessed services from a safe device.
- Visit the IT Solutions Center if issues continue to occur with your device.
I think I might have clicked on a phishing link. What do I do?
- Reset your password to the account you viewed the link from.
- Update and run antivirus and anti-malware software.
How do I report spam?
- Send all spam and phishing messages as an attachment to spam@mnsu.edu.

You can reset your StarID password using the self service portal at starid.minnstate.edu.
