Under approved circumstances, students may move in early. Select the category below that applies to you.
Departments requiring a group of students to move in early should contact Beekah Madia Russell at least one week before early arrival request.
If you are a student affiliated with a group, do not submit an individual early arrival request. Your coach/instructor/director will provide information to us.
New international students attending orientation may request early arrival using the Early Arrival Request form in the Housing & Dining Portal beginning Monday, July 24. You must have a room assignment before you can submit an early arrival request. Only students with advance approval from Residential Life are allowed to move-in early.
Students arriving prior to August 14 are billed $25 per night for their early arrival (meals not included). Charges are billed to the student's E-services account. The first meal offered by the student's meal plan is dinner on Thursday, August 17.
After a student submits their request, they can expect to receive an email response within three business days. If the request is approved, the student will receive check-in instructions.
Note: If you cancel your 2023-24 Housing Contract, your early arrival request will be canceled.
