MSU Gardens
Flowers add that exra dimension that elevates a drab campus to a bright and inviting one.
MSU has 73 separate gardens. 11 of these gardens in the heart of the campus have been adopted by
various departments of MSU. These departments are responsible on a special day each May volunteers
throughout the campus plant 10,000 flowers in separate flower beds. Weeks later the result of their
hard work becomes apparent even to the deer that have been found nibbing a flower or two.
