COVID-19 Testing Options for Students

TESTING IF YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS

Students who have symptoms, including fever or feverish feeling, chills, a new cough, shortness of breath, a new sore throat, new muscle aches, new headache, new loss of smell or taste can be tested for COVID-19 by scheduling an appointment at Student Health Services by calling 507-389-6276. Tests are by appointment only and clinic/lab charges apply.

TESTING IF YOU HAVE A COVID-19 EXPOSURE

Students and staff who have had contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 but are WITHOUT symptoms can obtain a rapid COVID-19 test on campus at no cost from 8am-4pm Monday through Thursday in the Health Education office (Carkoski Commons 100).

Testing is recommended five days after exposure to someone who has tested positive to COVID-19. No appointment is needed for exposure testing. Tests are offered on a first-come-first-served basis.

No COVID-19 exposure testing is allowed for those with symptoms such as fever, headache, cough, sore throat or fatigue. Symptomatic students may schedule an appointment at Student Health Services Medical Clinic by calling 507-389-6276.

Visit the Cue Health website for more information about tests used for a COVID-19 exposure.
