Essence of Nursing Upper-class Learning Community

The Essence of Nursing Learning Community experience continues the advising, student support and academic co-enrollment from the first year. The upper-level Learning Community GPAs have been consistently higher than 1st year-only learning communities GPAs. The Essence of Nursing Learning Community has been very successful with tracking students quickly through the prerequisite coursework. Participants in this Learning Community demonstrate a higher percentage of being able to complete the coursework and are able to apply in the fourth semester to be admitted to the School of Nursing.
