New Student Orientation (Summer)

Orientation is an experience designed to teach you about University resources, meet other new students, and complete course advisement and registration. Most students will attend a two day orientation program; however, we do offer a limited number of one day orientation programs. Orientation attendance and advising is required for all first year students to register for classes.

During your time on campus you will have the opportunity to…

  • Learn about how to get involved in campus life
  • Stay in the residence halls overnight (two day only)
  • Receive information from various offices such as Financial Aid, Residential Life, University Dining, and much more
  • Complete advising and registration

Family Orientation attendance is not required; however family is strongly encouraged to participate. Family members/guests register for orientation by including their information on your orientation registration.
