Community Engagement

The Community Engagement Office supports students who are seeking volunteer opportunities, both onetime experiences and ongoing projects. The Graduate Advisor for Community Engagement is an important role in the student development process and builds collaboration skills that will serve you throughout your lifetime

Graduate Assistantship Application Deadline

Priority consideration is given to applications received by March 8, 2024. Applicants must submit a 1) cover letter 2) Resume & Three References 3) unofficial transcripts, and 4) Statement on your commitment to equity and inclusion to william.tourville@mnsu.edu. Applications will be accepted until March 8, 2024 or until the position is filled, whichever occurs first. All assistantships within Student Activities are contingent on anticipated student fee funding.

 Salary

Full-time assistantship (20 hours per week) with a $5,000 stipend during each semester of appointment, out-of-state tuition waiver, and a waiver of tuition charges for up to nine (9) graduate credits per semester. Appointments made after the tenth day of classes are not eligible for tuition waiver.

Timeline

  • Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with priority given to those received by March 8, 2024.
