Grade Appeals

Students have the right to ask an instructor for an explanation of any grade received. There is a formal procedure for reviewing instances where students perceive that a final grade is unfair, arbitrary, or capricious.

The complete grade appeal process is outlined at the Student Government Office and in the Office of Academic Affairs. This process is not coordinated by the Registration and Academic Records Office.
